How are Prosthodontists different?

Prosthodontists are dentists with an additional three years of training in a post-graduate education program.

Because of this additional training, prosthodontists have additional skills in all areas of complete dentistry. Prosthodontists also have advanced training in treating occlusal bite disorders. There are many ways to treat your bite. We use “T-Scan” computerized technology to help diagnose and treat bite problems. It is critical to prevent occlusal (bite) interferences which can lead to joint and muscle disorders; tooth pain, loosening, wear or fractures. It is important to prevent bite problems.
